Wanda Allred Obituary, Car Accident, Death – Wanda Allred of Franklinville, North Carolina was confirmed dead in a fatal car accident in Randolph County on US 64 near Iron Mountain Road. There were reports of a tragic vehicle collision in Randolph County on Wednesday afternoon. The crash involved many different automobiles.
At about two twenty-five in the afternoon, officers from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol arrived in Randolph County, North Carolina, at the scene of a collision on United States Route 64, not far from Iron Mountain Road. They received the information and learned about the accident. On US Route 64 in an easterly direction was a 42-year-old Randleman resident who was operating a 2006 Mercedes Benz. He was one of the accident’s participants.
A 33-year-old male from Asheboro was a passenger in the Mercedes and one of the other passengers. A female passenger also rode in the Mercedes. Wanda Cox Allred, who was 74 years old at the time of the accident, was traveling west on US 64 in a 2019 Honda CR-V. The person crossed the center line and drove directly into the path of Allred’s car, resulting in a head-on accident.
According to the police, Allred died at the scene of the incident. The man who was found to be in a severe state in Randleman was sent to the hospital for treatment when it was established that he was still there. Even though the passenger’s injuries were very mild, she was sent to the hospital as soon as possible for care. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding this occurrence is currently being done. All westbound lanes of U.S. Route 64 (US 64) were fully stopped for the two hours that an investigation was taking place near to Iron Mountain Road. The state troopers concluded their investigation at 4:57 pm and decided it was time to leave the area.
