Tom Hellings Obituary Death – The news that one of our members had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday left us inconsolable with grief beyond our ability to express it.Tom and Ash have been with us since the beginning, when we were teaching boxing in a variety of school halls in the neighborhood in 2009. They remained with us when we launched UB in 2017, and they are still with us now.
Tom Hellings was one of a kind. He had a wicked sense of humor, a cheesy smile, and was the kind of person you could talk to for hours. He was a gentle giant. So many individuals who had the good fortune to have known him will be saddened to hear of his passing. To tell you the truth, we have not gotten over the fact that such a wonderful and kind man who dedicated his life to his family was taken from us so suddenly.He leaves behind his long-term partner Ashlee Linton and their two beautiful daughters, Kaylee (age 6), and Claire (age 10 months). He was just 37 when he passed away.
We are reaching out to the local community as well as a wider audience in the hopes that we may collect as much financial assistance as possible in order to relieve some of the forthcoming strain that will be placed on Ash, provide her with the much-deserved time she needs to spend with her daughters, and allow her to come to terms with everything that has transpired. We are grateful for any and all donations.
At Universal Balance, we also have a large freezer, and if someone would like to prepare a dinner for Ash and his family and place it in the freezer, we will bring it to Ash for them.We are here for you, Ash, and we know that with the love and support of a multitude of people, you will prevail over this challenge.
