St Peters Shooting – The incident took place. Authorities in the appropriate jurisdictions are currently conducting an investigation into what transpired. At approximately 1:30 in the morning, a caller in the 1600 block of Country Acres called the police to report hearing bullets being fired in the vicinity.
It was discovered that a man who had suffered from gunshot wounds had passed away as a result of the repercussions of those wounds. Two further people were struck by gunfire and transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. Neither of the victims died as a result of their wounds.
It was found that neither of these wounds posed a threat to the patient’s life. Because of the severity of the crime that is now being investigated, a request for assistance from the Major Case Squad has been submitted. This is because the investigation has been escalated. This report will be revised and updated as necessary by News 4 in accordance with any new information that becomes available to the general public.
