Sophia Johannesson Obituary, Death – With great sadness in our hearts, we are writing to let you know that our precious, alluring, and exceptional Sophia Bjorg Johannesson passed away. At the age of 34, she was taken from us early on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Every person Sophie interacted with was impacted by her, and her passing caused a decrease in people’s sense of hope for the future. Visitation and the Trisagion will be placed on Friday, May 26, 2023. On Saturday, May 27, 2023, the burial, reception, and funeral will all take place. Information will be made public as it becomes available. Any questions should be directed to Rob Pfister or Alex Livadaros so that the family can grieve in private. We appreciate your prayers and sympathies, and we anticipate being able to provide you with additional details soon.
Sophia’s photo that she shared with us on May 6, 2023, is the most recent one we have of her. I’d say I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her for close to 15 years, ever since I first met her and her friends while working as a volunteer at an occasion we planned called Women Rock. Chelsie Hollencamp was another among them.
We not only made a ton of new friends over the course of the event’s years but also raised a ton of cash for breast cancer research. People hold Sophia in great regard. As our friendship developed through my direct sales activities, she purchased from me. I used to stay out at her house with her closest friends since they were such wonderful people. I believe I was at least 18 years older than them. We had a good time despite everything. She made a commitment in one of our textbooks, which I recently read again, to persuade my daughter Kati to continue her studies at UMD.
How lovely. You can see from this photo that she has a certain light about her even if you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting her in person. Both inside and out, she was gorgeous. My heart aches for everyone who loved her. Life sometimes seems to have no meaning. I found out about her passing on one of those days. I’m sending Sophia’s family my sincere condolences during this extremely tough time, but I can’t help but smile when I think of her and the times we shared. May you live in peace, my dear young friend. You will be missed while you are on Earth.
