Robert Caldwell Obituary, Native of Pleasantville Has Passed Away

Robert Caldwell Obituary, Death – Robert G. Caldwell, Sr., who had reached the age of 78 at the time of his passing on May 24, 2023, was a patient at the Titusville Area Hospital when he passed away. He considered the community of Pleasantville to be his permanent residence.

Robert entered the world on April 16, 1945, in the city of Brackenridge, in the state of Pennsylvania. Both of Robert Caldwell’s parents, John and Ruth (Schreckengost) Caldwell, had passed away before to his birth. Robert was an only child. On April 9, 1964, he tied the knot with Gwendolyn Anderson. 1964 was the year when the ceremony took place.

He was a member of the United States Navy and served his country well.
For a substantial portion of time, Robert was the only proprietor of his own truck driving company and also served as its sole operator. Both the roster of the Pleasantville Volunteer Fire Department and the Pleasantville Lions Club had his name on it at one point in time, indicating that he was a member of both organizations.

Robert has a variety of interests, including woodworking and the restoration of classic automobiles and trucks.
Robert Caldwell was the only member of his family to have made it through life; his brothers Bill, Jim, and Dick had all passed away before him. Robert was the only member of his family to have survived over the course of their lives. There are currently no plans in place to host any memorial services or other activities in this person’s honor. In lieu of traditional floral tributes, the family has asked that monetary contributions be given to the Venango County Humane Society.
