Richard Horvath Obituary, Death – Richard A. Horvath, 79, passed away on May 24, 2023. Richard was up in Garfield and Lodi, New Jersey, and went to Pope Pius High School there before doing his college work at Seton Hall University. He was created in Passaic, New Jersey.
Richard spent 38 years living in Wayne and 9 years in Clifton before to relocating to Glassboro in 2016. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well. Richie usually gave a good impression, which was admirable given his area of work. Both on land and at sea, Richard and his wife loved to travel.
Even after all these journeys, he still preferred to spend time with his family on the Jersey coast in the sunshine. He most enjoyed spending time with the people he cared about, especially his eight grandkids, to whom he gave hugs and kisses every day. His survivors include his 55-year-old wife Sonja (Pavlischak), and their three children Kylie, Reese, and Kenny.
Their son Christian (Dr. Michelle Charfen), Jeanice (Ryan) Edge, Connor, Riley, and Brady, Cheryl (Rob) Serpiello, Mia Joy, and Robbie, their siblings Beverly (Robert) Lawrence and James (Lori) Horvath, as well as nieces and nephews.
