Mercedes Mone Broken Ankle, Wrestling Superstar Injured – The professional wrestling talent Mercedes Mone, who was once known as Sasha Banks in WWE, may have damaged her ankle while competing at the NJPW Resurgence event on Sunday, according to a PW insider. Banks was known by that ring name in WWE. Sasha Banks was the ring moniker that Mone used when she was a member of WWE.
During a series of events that took place earlier, it appeared that Mone was the one who inflicted Nightingale’s injury when he leaped from the top rope and ring post to the floor and then clotheslined Nightingale’s neck across the top rope. This took place during a sequence of events. As a consequence of the move, it seemed as though she was unable to put any weight on her right leg.
Nightingale successfully pinned the veteran wrestler Mone, who was then 31 years old, by delivering a powerbomb to him after another minute and a half of wrestling action. Even though Mone did not kick out, the referee merely counted to two before indicating that she got her shoulder up and signaling the end of the round. This was despite the fact that Mone did not kick out.
After the main event match between Mone and Willow Nightingale, which was to determine the first-ever NJPW Strong Women’s champion, Mone had assistance getting out of the ring and had to be taken out. Willow Nightingale won the match and became the first-ever NJPW Strong Women’s champion.
