Matthew Nicholas Obituary, Death – On May 8, 2023, Matthew Nicholas, age 55, passed away suddenly due to an unforeseen illness. He was the devoted spouse of Christa (Wachinski), with whom he would have celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on June 20. He passed away on June 20.
He was the son of the late Anthony Francis Nicholas and Helen Patricia (Adams) Nicholas, both of whom passed away before he was born in Reading. He received his diploma from Holy Name High School in 1986 and then went on to study and play football at Clemson University.
He found numbers to be fascinating and spent a lot of time learning about the stock market and other aspects of finance. He was very fond of the meals that his wife prepared, especially the pierogi that she made from scratch. He had a gentle and compassionate spirit, and he showed people he loved, in his own unassuming way, that he cared about them very profoundly.
The only people who will ever truly cherish his memory are his wife, Christa, whom he loved so deeply, and his daughters, Mackana K. and Bailey M. Nicholas, both of Sinking Spring, of whom he was incredibly proud. His memory will live on in their hearts forever.
At Manderbach Ford, where he worked as a valued member of the sales team in the Parts Department, Matt had a great time doing his job since he got to spend it with his friends and coworkers. He enjoyed a wide variety of sporting activities, but his favorite was football. Because he was a supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, he will be forgiven for his behavior. He was a skilled marksman who competed frequently with his brother in various target shooting events.
