Manhattan Bridge Suicide, The Brooklyn Bridge Jumper Has Died

Manhattan Bridge Suicide – In an effort to run away from the police, a guy took his own life by jumping off a ramp on the Brooklyn Bridge. He was found dead at the scene. Before jumping off the building, the man, who has not been identified, is reported to have yelled “I’m not going back to jail!” before taking his own life.

At roughly 12:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, he reportedly passed away at a local hospital, as reported by the authorities. On Saturday, the incident that led to the altercation began when the man made an unsuccessful attempt to steal a woman’s handbag and her vehicle. The police said that they found the suspect inside the vehicle with the victim, who was attempting to run but was unsuccessful. The victim was also inside the vehicle with the suspect.

The thief then allegedly drove off while the woman was still inside the vehicle and headed in the direction of the Brooklyn Bridge, as stated by the police. Following his collision with a police vehicle, the man came upon a blocked exit ramp and made a U-turn into the path of oncoming traffic in order to continue his journey.

According to the officials, he collided with another police car as he was heading back toward Brooklyn. This occurred when he was making his way back. After realizing that there was nowhere else for him to go, he reportedly got out of the car, yelled at the officers that he would not go back to jail, and then jumped off the off-ramp of the bridge, landing on the street below. This is according to the records that were filed by the police. The police said that emergency medical personnel transported him to the hospital, but that he did not survive his arrival there and passed away a few hours later.
