M61 Traffic Accident Today, Bridge fall kills woman

M61 Traffic Accident Today – All lanes have been made available once more after being blocked off for almost an hour and a half. Because of a previous police incident, the Inrix website that monitors traffic states that there are “long delays” on the M61 between J8 A674 Millennium Way (Chorley) and J6 A6027 De Havilland Way (Horwich) in both directions.

These delays are occurring between Chorley and Horwich. Congestion at junction 5 (Westhoughton) for traffic traveling in the northbound direction, and congestion at junction 9 (M65 interchange) for traffic traveling in the southbound direction. The routes that go through Chorley and Blackrod are notorious for their terrible traffic congestion. Every lane that was previously closed has been reopened.

The road reopened to traffic approximately one hour and thirty minutes after it had been closed for safety reasons. 61 updates on the traffic situation as a woman who fell off a bridge have tragically passed away. On the motorway known as the M61, traffic in both directions has been stopped between junctions eight and six, which are respectively located in Chorley and Horwich.

Tragically, a woman lost her life as a result of an encounter with police when she fell off of a bridge during the incident. On the motorway, between junction eight for Chorley and junction six for Horwich, there was a backup that brought to a standstill all of the traffic going in both directions. Today (May 22), at approximately 11:15 a.m., the incident was reported for the first time, and traffic is continuing to pile up in the region.
