Mrs. Battle passed away on May 19, 2023, and after her passing, she was placed to rest in the tranquility and privacy of her own house, where she was surrounded by the devoted members of her family, prior to travelling on to her heavenly abode. Mrs. Battle’s funeral was held on May 20, 2023, and after her passing, she was laid to rest in her own home.
Visitation will be held from noon to one o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, May 25, 2023, in the sanctuary of Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at one o’clock. It has been decided that the Home Going Service would begin at one o’clock in the afternoon as the time of start. Mrs. Battle and the rest of her devoted family are going to be escorted to the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery so that they can take part in the Committal Rites that are going to be held at that location. These Rites will be held in Mrs. Battle’s honor.
