Lennie Zens Obituary, Death – The sudden passing of our long-time employee and close friend, Lennie Zens, has left us in a state of shock and profound sorrow. It had been almost 20 years since he had joined the Cattle Team, and this was going to be the celebratory post that we put up on Facebook on Saturday.
We will miss his hilarious sense of humor and infectious laughter, and in this time of loss, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and all those who held him dear. RIP Lennie. Apologies for the terrible loss. Joe Brtna thought that Lenny was a fantastic guy and that he always cared about his customers. What a person, and a joy to collaborate with. We were in charge of the potatoes for the Epiphany suppers for a good number of years. Due to the fact that he was so tall, he had no trouble manipulating the large pots.
As they face the challenging days ahead, may God shower his family with his blessings and strength. What a wonderful human being!! Simply being in his presence was guaranteed to put a smile on your face! My condolences go out to his family. What a gentleman, he was a wonderful friend and a wonderful teacher; he will be sorely missed. I never failed to look forward to the times when he would supply my pet supplies. Will be missed very, very much! RIP Lenny.
One of the kindest guys I’ve ever met, I always looked forward to his visits to the farm. My prayers are with his loved ones. Our sincere condolences go out to Lennie’s family as well as his work family. A fantastic individual who will be sorely missed by a large number of people. What a terrible tragedy…We are going to miss his visits and drop-offs; he always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making us laugh.
