Latasha Brown Obituary, Death – A memorial service honoring the life of Latasha Jalisa Brown, who went away when she was 30 years old, will be held at the International Praise Church of God on June 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m., the day and time of her passing. The Reverend Doyle Roberts has been asked to serve as the officiant for the event.
Latasha departed this life on Thursday, May 25, 2023, and is now in a better place. She was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to parents named Theodore Brown and Lynn Lata Brown. She was their daughter. Latasha’s religious affiliations led her to worship at the International Praise Church of God. Some of her favorite activities included cooking, reading, putting in a decent exercise, and watching Marvel films and Grey’s Anatomy. She also enjoyed watching Grey’s Anatomy.
Latasha is survived by her daughter, Ziyana Brown, who resides in Elgin; her parents, Theodore and Lynn Brown, who also reside in Elgin; her paternal grandmother, Clara Brown; her maternal grandparents, Balu and Manju Patel; her siblings, Lateya Brown, Theodore Brown Jr., Jason New (Sara), Tyeshia Brown, and Latanya Black (Rasheeta); as well as a number of other relatives and friends. Her paternal great-grandfather, Walter Lee Brown, had already died away before she was conceived.
