Kinya Galloway Obituary, 40-year-old Native of Alton, IL Kinya Galloway has died – Death

Kinya Galloway Obituary, Death – At the age of forty, Kinya Nicole Galloway, who resided in Alton, Illinois, passed away suddenly at St. Anthony’s Hospital on May 14, 2023. On May 31, 1982, Kinya was born to her parents, Larry E. Galloway and Orvella Brice, in Alton, Illinois. Kinya received her diploma from Alton High institution in the year 2000. Kinya attended that institution. She looked forward to spending time with her huge family, which included going on vacation to the Carolinas on a regular basis. She took care of her grandmother before she passed away, and she cooked for and spoiled Ryder and Eli whenever she had the chance. She was the most giving person.

Kinya never met a stranger, chatted to everyone and never had a dull moment. We like to joke that Kinya has never had to put in a day’s work in her entire life. She was employed, but because she had such a warm and friendly demeanor, it never felt like work to be around her. For instance, during her most recent employment at Sammi’s Sandwiches at Norbs., she was able to become part of a new “work family.” They were quite close and spent a lot of time together both at business and outside of it, going on trips and going to Chiefs games. Even if you only interacted with her briefly, we have no doubt that you have a hilarious tale to tell about the experience. Kinya’s grandfather, Larry E. Galloway, and her grandmother, Christine Brice, both passed away before she was born.

Kinya is survived by her mother, Orvella Brice; one brother, Michael Galloway; two sisters, Deja and LaAris Crumer; two special boys, Eli and Ryder; in addition to a large number of other members of her family and friends. Calvary Baptist Church, located at 1422 Washington Avenue in Alton, Illinois 62002, will host a visitation on May 20, 2023 beginning at 9:00 AM and continuing until the time of the service at 10:00 AM. After the service, burial will take place at Upper Alton Cemetery.
