Kim Kuffner Obituary Death – I am writing this today with an incredible amount of sadness because
On the evening of Sunday, May 21st, Kim Kuffner was taken from this world unexpectedly. On April 22, what started out as what we anticipated would be a brief mental health respite in the Dube Centre at RUH turned into a stay in the medicine ward with an unknown sickness that made it difficult for her to breathe.
On Friday the 19th of May, she was moved to the intensive care unit (ICU) to be placed on a ventilator in the hopes that if she didn’t have to fight as hard to breathe, she might be able to fight whatever was causing her lungs, and eventually her heart, to have to work so hard. This was done in the hopes that if she didn’t have to fight as hard to breathe, she might be able to fight whatever was causingWe still have no idea how or what caused her condition, thus we cannot provide any answers to that question.
We are aware that she was not responsible for what happened. It wasn’t cancer, COPD, emphysema, COVID, or pneumonia, either. Perhaps in the days to come, we shall acquire further knowledge.Please feel free to upload any images that you and Kim have taken together that you would want to share here.
