Kelli Marshall Obituary, Native of Escanaba, Michigan Has Passed Away

Kelli Marshall Obituary, Death – Kelli Marie Marshall, age 44, of Escanaba, Michigan, passed away on May 17, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision. She was the daughter of Sandra M. (Chateau) Marshall and was born on September 29th, 1978 in the city of Hanau, Germany.

Kelli earned her high school diploma from Henry Ford II in Sterling Heights, Michigan, in the class of 1996. She completed her study at Central Michigan University and the University of Texas, and then attended Michigan State University to earn her Master Gardener degree. Since she moved to Escanaba five years ago, she has made the most of her time there by taking pictures of the aurora borealis and enjoying the great outdoors.
Kelli has a history of working for businesses such as Tractor Supply, 41 Lumber, and Bichler Concrete. Recently, she has been employed at Anytime Fitness, where she has held the position of club manager since the month of January.

She was beloved by everyone who ever interacted with her. Because of her outgoing nature, contagious laugh, and warm smile, it was impossible not to warm up to her. Kelli was a gifted musician who was able to play a variety of instruments, including six in all. Her hobbies were rock collecting, baking, and the cultivation of flora in her yard. Surviving members of her family include her mother, Sandra “Sandy” Marshall of Shelby Twp., Michigan; two brothers, Craig and David Marshall; bonus mom, Patricia Snyder; close friend, Travis Brill; uncles and aunt, Michael Chateau, Donald Chateau, and Carol Chateau Mooney and their families; and a large number of other significant friends and acquaintances.

Her maternal grandparents, Jerry and June Chateau, as well as her cousin Adam Mooney, all away before her.
Visitation will be held at the Crawford Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The funeral home is located at 302 S. 13th Street in Escanaba.
