Jimmy Medlin Obituary, Death – Jimmy Medlin Member of Aurora Faith Full Gospel Church Has Sadly Passed Away. Jimmy Wayne Medlin, who resided in Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born on November 20, 1949 in Stone County, Missouri, the son of Melvin and Jessie (Tharp) Medlin, and he reached the age of 73 when he went to be with Jesus. Jim was a faithful attendee of the Faith Full Gospel Church in Aurora, which is located in the state of Missouri.

He has spent his entire life working in the trucking industry as a painter and body worker. In Crane, Missouri, on the 15th of June in 1968, he tied the knot with Kathy Wise. Kathy, Jim’s devoted wife of almost 55 years, survives him along with their three children, Kevin (Tammy) Medlin, Greg (Amy) Medlin and Christina (Jason) Batson, all of whom reside in Aurora, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Brittany Neely, Kyle, Zachary, Clint, Noah and Stetson Medlin, Karlie Powers and Cameron Batson;

six great-grandchildren, Briley and Beau Neely, Maggie, Oakley Jim’s parents, Melvin and Jessie, his two brothers, Herman and Albert Medlin, his brother-in-law, Laverne Potter, his sister-in-law, Carolyn Woody, his in-laws, Jack and Joan Wise, and his grandson, Colt Medlin, all passed away before him. On Monday, May 22, 2023, at ten o’clock in the morning, a funeral ceremony will be performed at the Faith Full Gospel Church.

The Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora will be in charge of the arrangements for the service. The final resting place will be in the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora after the funeral. Visitation will be conducted at the church on Sunday, May 21, 2023, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until 7:00 p.m. Donations in memory of the deceased can be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and should be sent, in care of the funeral home, rather than flowers.
