Imogene Robinson Obituary, Death- Imogene Smithson Robinson, who was 86 years old when she died on May 18, 2023 in the Waters of Bristol, was found to have passed away there. She called Bluff City, Tennessee, her home for the most of her life. She was born on August 15, 1936 in Carter County, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Silas Miller, who had died away, and Roxie Hayes Miller, who had also passed away.
Both of her parents had passed away. She was a member of Cornerstone Freewill Baptist Church up to the time of her passing, and prior to that, she had been employed at Gordon Garment until the time of her retirement. Her husband, George Robinson, her twin sister, Geraldine Easley, and her granddaughter, Susan Oliver, all before her in death. She was the only surviving member of her family.
Her parents were both a part of the group of people who had passed away before she did. Those who are left to cherish her memory include her daughter Sharon Miller, as well as her son Eugene Carrier and his wife Claudia, as well as their grandchildren Steven Miller, Christy Miller, Heather Miller, Melissa Carrier, and Nathan Carrier, in addition to a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and her step son Glen Robinson.
The funeral ceremony for Ms. Robinson will be held in the chapel of the Weaver Funeral Home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. to honor her life and memory. Pastor Gary Rowlette will act as the ceremony’s host and presider. The interment will take place in the Shipley Cemetery immediately following the service. The family will have a viewing at the funeral home on Saturday from one o’clock to one forty-five minutes before the commencement of the event. This will take place before the ceremony that will take place on Sunday. During the funeral service, close friends and family members will be responsible for carrying the casket.
