Howard Miller Obituary Death – Howard Miller, a former WSAZ employee, who was loved by everyone who knew him, passed away today. Howard’s warm smile and easy going attitude were just part of so many trademark virtues.His son, Cam, broke the tough news on Facebook. A few days ago, Cam also shared some very touching words about dear ol’ dad and his end of life struggles. I’ve reposted below.
Rest in peace, Howard.Today I have to do one of the hardest things I’ve ever been asked. Dad’s recovery just hasn’t been strong enough for him to come off the ventilator and he will require a feeding tube and there is no timeline on any cognitive recovery. All of the small improvements were great but ultimately his current condition hasn’t changed in the ways we have needed it to. He has told me what to do in this situation and Lord knows I’m searching and searching for the strength to do what he has asked me to do.
I appreciate all the help and well wishes everyone has sent. I thank you all and I see just how many people my Dad has positively impacted: Maybe some day people can say the same about me.
For now it’s time for him to rest as he spent a great deal of his life working. Working for his dreams and working to raise me. What a great Father he has been. Lately he’s had a tough time and it’s finally time he gets some much needed peace.
I will continue to update you all with the plans moving forward. This is all a learning experience for me and I’m taking things a step at a time. I apologize if I haven’t responded but these past few days have been very, very hard for me.Thank you all and love you all and please reflect on the good times through these hard times,
