Greg Tangey Obituary, Death – Greg Tangey Member of Mad Fap Entertainment Has Sadly Passed Away. Hi all. It is with a very heavy heart we bring you this update on Greg Tangey, aka Ruxton/Percuss.
“First of all we’d like to thank you for the out pouring of support from all of Greg’s many friends & followers from near & far. We have been overwhelmed by the many lives that have been touched through Greg’s Personal, Music & other interests that he met you all through.
Greg has been against the odds since first having his Aortic Aneurysm rupture on May 6th and has fought a valiant battle against all odds. Most that have the type of rupture Greg had do not survive the event itself.
The Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Dr James Edelman, his team, nurses & staff at Fiona Stanley Hosptial in Perth are to be commended for the efforts they put in to get Greg thus far. Their care and compassion for Greg has been genuine and exemplary.
It is with very heavy hearts our family has to report that today Greg lost his battle and has passed away. His family are devasted, as no doubt you all are too, he will be missed. Knowing that Greg had a lot of genuine support out there makes our journey just that little bit easier and so from all of his family we thank you. Thankyou also to the other half of Selekt Few Luke Skinner for helping us to relay information out via social media. Thanks also to Loz, Barry, Taff & Chris who reached out to us, they too will no doubt be feeling the heartache of what’s happened. You are all very special people.
Further information with regards funeral arrangements will be released as soon as we have them available.
For now remember the good times you had with Greg, enjoy his, Luke’s and others music that he was involved in. I believe there is a whole catalogue of unpublished works tucked away but unfortunately we need to find a way to get in to it all and on that note I’ll sadly hand it over to you guys. Thank you.”
And a note from Luke – please be patient and respectful with Greg’s family and friends during this time.
As you can imagine, there are *too many* difficult calls to be made and messages to send and things to follow up with in the coming days, and at a time that is already very overwhelming. We will keep you updated as best we can. Please feel free to leave your comments, share your messages, memories, songs, photos, or whatever it might be that reminds you of Greg here in the comments below.
