Governor Gardner Obituary, Death – It is with deep sorrow that we must notify you that Governor G. B. Gardner of Evansville, Indiana died away on May 15, 2023. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time. When he passed away, he had reached the age of 47 years old.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Gardner, his sons Ge’Kove Gardner and G’Corian Gardner of Owensboro, Kentucky; his siblings Joan Gardner of Atlanta, Georgia, Carla Gardner and Curt Gardner; his aunts Shirley “Delores” Mack of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ella Jacob of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Janet Gardner (California); his nephews Durell Clemmons, Derek Gardner, and Dion Milan; and his niece Danielle Small. A sizeable number of his cousins, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and acquaintances from his extended family are among those who will carry on his legacy after his death.
The viewing will begin at 10:00 AM on the 20th of May, 2023, and continue until 12:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church, which can be found at 605 Canal Street in Evansville, Indiana 47713. The event will take place on the 20th of May. A burial service will be place at the same site at twelve o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, May 20th, 2023. The date and time of the service have not yet been determined. The departed person will be laid to rest at this location after their passing.
