GLENDA PARKIN Obituary Death – The news of Dr. Glenda Parkin’s loss left us inconsolable because she was such a cherished member of the St. Stephen’s School community. When we found out about her demise, we were devastated. We were saddened by the news of her leaving when it came to our attention.
During the years 1987 to 1990 and again during the years 1999 to 2001, Glenda served as the Dean of Carana.
Then, during the years 2002 and 2007, she served as our Principal, and she continued in that post up until 2007. She was a thoughtful, astute, and profoundly spiritual woman who left an impression on each and every one of us who had the privilege of working with her. She passed away recently. She was the kind of woman that leaves a lasting impression. She was a woman who left a lasting impression on each and every one of us due to the huge impact she made on our lives.
The “Glenda Parkin Learning Centre” on the Duncraig Campus honours her memory by displaying a magnificent painting of Glenda that was painted by Sarah Pearn, who graduated with the Class of 2006. Sarah Pearn was a member of the Class of 2006.During this trying time, we are keeping Glenda and her entire family in our thoughts and prayers. In particular, we are thinking about and praying for her husband, Bronte, as well as her boys, Cameron and Lachlan, and the rest of her family members.
