Eric Hagen Obituary, Death – On February 14, 1978, Erik Hagen was born in Fridley, Minnesota, to parents Dennis and Robbie Hagen. He spent his childhood in Elk River, Minnesota, where he was active in both baseball and hockey. It was one of Erik’s favorite things to do to spend time at the cabin with his family and friends fishing. He looked forward to his annual excursions to Hinckley for hunting with great anticipation.
In the year 2000, Erik and Katie first became acquainted, and on March 16, 2006, they tied the knot. They were given the gift of parenthood in the form of three children: Collin, Chloe, and Cody. The pride and joy of his life were undoubtedly his children. Through coaching his son Collin in Mound Westonka baseball, Erik was able to carry on his lifelong passion of the game. Collin’s performances on the ice and the field were always some of Erik’s favorites to see. Chloe was referred to as his “peanut” and has the same sense of humor as him. Cody was the greatest surprise of his life and his father’s best little friend.
Erik was a chemical delivery driver for Lube-Tech Industries, where he worked as an employee. He had a reputation for being an enthusiastic worker who put in a lot of effort. Collin, Chloe, and Cody are Erik’s children, and he is survived by his wife Katie, his father Dennis Hagen and step-mother Vicky, his sister Shelly (Chuck) Sekeres, his nephew Ethan, and many more relatives and friends. His mother Robbie and both of his grandfathers and grandmothers passed away before him.
Erik was the light of the party and made everyone he met feel loved. He was always the person to watch. He will live on in perpetuity in all of our thoughts and in the lives of his family members and the people to whom he donated organs. “While his wings were prepared, our hearts were not yet prepared.” At a later time, a memorial service honoring Erik’s life will take place.
