Doris Thomas Obituary, Death – On May 19th, 2023, Doris F. Thomas, who had lived in Sevierville all her life and had reached the age of 90, passed away. Her husband James Thomas, her son Larry Thomas, her daughter Reba Thomas, her brothers Coy, Ray, Winford, and AJ Green, and her sister Joyce Ballard all predeceased her.
Her parents, Adam and Dixie Green, her husband James Thomas, her son Larry Thomas, and her daughter Reba Thomas all predeceased her as well. She was the only member of her immediate family that had made it this far. Her sister Mary Norris (Jerry) and her sisters-in-law Wilma, Helen, Marie, and Joyce Green are among the people who will miss her after her passing.
Her sister is also named Mary Norris, also known as Jerry. In the East Chapel of the Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville on the 26th of May, 2023, the family will be there to meet and greet friends between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
The funeral will get under way at six o’clock in the evening, and Reverends Ben Whitted and Bill Ogle will be in charge of presiding over the event. On Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 10 a.m., there will be a service at the gravesite, and the burial will take place at the Marion-Ownby Cemetery. Everyone in the family and all of their friends are welcome to come.
