David Ensign Obituary, Death – David W. Ensign, who lived in Maple Shade, passed away in a serene and peaceful manner on Thursday, May 18, 2023, with his loving family at his side. The date and time of his passing are unknown. He can look back on 59 years of experience. Even though he was born in Woodbury on December 28, 1963, he resided in the MapleShade area throughout the entirety of his youth.
Dave Ensign was a self-employed auto mechanic who operated his own company, Ensign’s Auto Repair, which was situated on Main Street in Maple Shade. His firm was known for its excellent customer service. One of his favorite spots in the world was Key West, Florida, and it was likely that you would find him there on a regular basis. Dave enjoyed a wide variety of activities and pursuits, some of which were riding motorcycles, drinking ice-cold Budweiser, listening to music by the Juliano Brothers Band, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles. Above all else in the world, the time he got to spend with his grandchildren and the rest of his family was the thing he valued the most.
Beloved husband of Doreen Ensign (ne Fischer) for the past 19 years; loving father of Jennifer (Kevin) Donahue; devoted brother of Donald Ensign, Jr. (Bonnie Stevens), Diane (Tim) Gauntt, Debbie Ensign, and Dale (Amberlynn) Ensign; devoted son of Florence Fischer (the late Joseph Fischer); loving son-in-law of Florence Fischer (the late Joseph Fischer); dear brother-in-law In addition, Dave leaves behind a significant number of nieces, nephews, and close friends who will miss him a great deal.
A viewing and visitation with the family of the dead will be held at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME in Maple Shade, which is located at 38 N. Forklanding Road. The viewing and visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 23 from 5 to 9 p.m. Family members and close friends are encouraged to come. There will be a wake at nine o’clock in the evening, immediately following the viewing that will be held earlier. The funeral and burial will be held in privacy.
