Conor Rae Death, Obituary – Conor Rae of Coquitlam, British Columbia has sadly passed away. Conor Rae was killed on Tuesday night when a Portage RCMP officer started shooting. The young man, who was 18 years old and had a slim build, is thought to have died as a result of a poor reaction to marijuana use.
This murder served no purpose whatsoever. How incompetent this division might possibly be is beyond comprehension. In essence, they called Kaylan after getting his number and told him that his child had been slain, the Internal Investigations Unit (IIU) was investigating, and they had no further information. Around 5:30 in the morning, I got to the detachment, and I was placed in the same line as everyone else. Because the IIU was mentioned, I was able to identify the involved member.
I find it difficult to imagine that there was a sizable crowd considering that it was a Tuesday night. I don’t think it would have been difficult for two heavily armed and armored police officers to ask for backup if they were unable to handle an 18-year-old. There was no need to rush in with both barrels blazing because.
Based on what we know, the second person involved in this domestic quarrel was safe in another apartment. Was it intentional for the accounts and notes to be written in a way that they supported one another in the more than three hours that followed the murder? We can only make conjectures at this point because we don’t know anything.
As Kaylan noted, it raises the question of why Portage Online was told before Kaylan’s family (and I have my doubts about the accuracy and reliability of the information). The awful policeman will be protected by a “circle the wagons” mindset, which will result in the worst possible portrayal of this amazing, talented, and compassionate young man. RCMP is a shame. Although I hope that justice will be served, considering my past interactions with government institutions, I have my doubts.
